Turbo Expander

The Universal Boschi Turbo Expanders are made to the highest standers and are incorporated in the UBT, UBTL and UBTN Series of Oxygen Nitrogen gas and Liquid Plants.

The Turbo Expander works on the technique of induced cooling via expansion due to which the operational pressure of the plant is further reduced and the performance of the distillation column is stabilized for constant production and high purity.

Therefore the operating pressure is reduced to just 7 to 10 bar for the above series of Oxygen Nitrogen plants.

The turbo expander is a rotary machine running on gas bearing. This is used to provide cooling for the liquefication of air at minus 180 to (-)190 degrees centigrade.
